Casa de Alba is one of the most important aristocratic families in the world, whose origins date back to the 15th century, from which the first Duke of Alba descended. Nowadays, after 6 centuries making history, it is considered the most important heraldic house in Europe with a foundation that it owns:
10 emblematic palaces, 19 castles spread across the world, an art collection of more than 250 works by great masters such as: Rubens, Rembrandt, Goya, Renoir, etc. and a library of 18,000 volumes that includes the travel letters of Christopher Columbus, a copy of the first edition of Quixote, among other early manuscripts of incalculable value.
In addition, within the business field, the Casa de Alba is the largest landowner in Spain, with 38,000 hectares of farmland, in addition to multiple business holdings.
