PEDRO PROENÇA

Pedro Proença (Lubango, Angola, 1962) became one of the co-founders of the Homeostética group, in 1982. Before completing his studies in Belas Artes [Fine Arts], he had already been awarded in Portugal, India and France. He has exhibited individually at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, at the CCB and at the Frankfurt Kunstwerein. His work, known for humor and theatricality, is deeply linked to literature, the subject of several of his exhibitions. Alongside the visual arts, Pedro Proença has dedicated himself to writing.
