
PENIM LOUREIRO
Penim Loureiro was a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. He graduated in Architecture and created comics from 1979 to 1984, with publications in the following fanzines: Ritmo, Ruptura and Amargem, as well as in the following periodicals: Sete, Tintin, Jornal da BD, Boletim do CPBD and Un Fanzine Llamado Camello. He left the comic book scene and focused on architectural rehabilitation, then returning with the Suspended City book in 2014. He participated in the Portugal 2055 project and in the illustration of a comic book titled Reportagem Especial – Adaptação às Alterações Climáticas em Portugal (Special Report – Adaptation to Climate Change in Portugal), winning the Central Comics Trophy for Best Illustration.
