Anabela Dias holds an undergraduate degree in Painting from the ARCA/EUAC, in Coimbra. She was an art director at an advertising agency and is currently a freelancer in illustration and communication design. She has more than two handfuls of books published with her illustrations and regularly participates in individual and collective exhibitions. She was awarded with some important distinctions, including: Prémio de Ilustração at the 7.ª Bienal de Jovens Criadores da Europa e do Mediterrâneo, 1994; Distinction in the 15º Prémio Nacional de Ilustração, 2011; She was selected for the 7º Encontro Internacional de Ilustração de São João da Madeira, 2014; She was selected for the V Catálogo Ibero-Americano de Ilustração 2014; Honorable Mention 3x3, Illustration Annual Magazine No 13, 2016; Shortlist of the 3rd Nami Island Picture Book International Illustration Concours 2016; She was selected for 3x3, Illustration Annual Magazine No 15, 2018, in the Merit Award category.
Licínia Quitério (1940) is the author of a number of poetry collections, among Da Memória dos Sentidos, 2005; Os Sítios, 2012 and Travessia, 2019. She also contributed to poetry anthologies Cintilações da Sombra 2 e 3, coordinated by Victor Oliveira Mateus and Clepsydra, coordinated by Gisela Ramos Rosa. She also wrote Disco Rígido (short stories, 2013, volume II, 2015), Os Olhos de Aura (novella, 2017) and A Metade de um Homem (novella, 2018). She translated O Vizinho Invisível, by Francisco José Faraldo, from Spanish.
