8th piece of the Contemporary Artists Project. A tribute to one of the leading exponents of Brazilian culture, Candido Portinari, and one of his most recognized works, the "War and Peace" murals.
The War and Peace murals were commissioned by the Brazilian government to present the UN. Since 1957 they transmit their uplifting message in the large entrance hall of the UN General Assembly in New York.
This piece of high symbolism was reproduced in a porcelain jar by Vista Alegre, with gold curd stretching on the neck and the bottom, made by hand. A special series limited and numbered to 500 pieces.
